Prior to joining eLynx, Alan spent 16 years in oil and gas measurement where he owned a measurement company. In addition to his oil and gas experience, Alan held licenses as a water operator and ground treatment operator in the state of Texas. He prides himself on the relationships he creates with customers and believes that is the key component of a growing a successful business. 

Alan enjoys spending time with his family watching his sons’ sporting events and attending church. He also enjoys fly fishing, hunting, grilling, and traveling.  

Alan stated, “I’m excited for the opportunity to learn from and contribute to eLynx’s future. I am grateful and eager to continue the legacy that my father, Ray McDaniel, helped build along with a team he highly respected.”   

Alan’s father, Ray McDaniel, was instrumental in developing the SCADA platform that launched eLynx Technologies in 2000. eLynx is honored to have a second-generation McDaniel continue Ray’s legacy.
