Unleash Your Data with Industry-Trusted, Out-of-the-Box Visualizations

Empower your entire organization with user-configurable data visualization tools. Unlimited users, unlimited tags.

Data needs to be viewed in a variety of ways to be meaningful and expedite analysis. Having the right visualization for the right data is crucial. The constraints of traditional SCADA HMIs prevent organizations from realizing the efficiencies and insights they should be gaining out of their SCADA data.

The eLynx SCADA solution and Data Historian (time series database) software system contain canned data visualizations that are user-configurable and built by oil and gas operators for oil and gas operators.

Use the Production Dashboard to Prioritize Operational Activity

The eLynx Production Dashboard helps operators and engineers quickly identify which wells need their attention. The system utilizes real-time data to automatically categorize producing wells, down wells, wells that are at risk of going down, and wells that are not communicating. The well status, combined with the target production and production variance amounts, allows operators and engineers to immediately focus on the greatest production impact.

The Production Dashboard graphically displays the actual production of a group of assets compared to target production rates. Compare today’s production rates to the previous day, and view 30 day production averages. Moreover, users can take action on a well and utilize the Production Dashboard as a control system.

Users can quickly click from well to well and view preferred graphs for each well or create a new graph if needed.

Drill into each category to see the list of wells within each group. View trend data and historical field notes or memos associated with each well. Moreover, users can take action on a well right from the Production Dashboard.

From the same screen, access field notes, control settings changes, and alarms in a Well History pane alongside any graph to provide operators and engineers with all the information they need in one place. The Well History events can also be easily toggled on and off to display directly on the graph in line with the time series data.

Once a problem has been identified and diagnosed, the natural next step is to take action. Make remote settings changes directly from the well investigation screen or add a note to the Well History.

Replicate Oil & Gas Operations with Image View

Easily add graphical context to your data to help surface and analyze operational issues. Image View allows all users to create and customize their own screens with support for demand scan requests, edit capabilities, and interactive alarm banners at either a group or device level.

Graphical View is another customizable data visualization tool used to view data with images in cases where more graphical context is needed. Images may represent any asset: RTUs (remote terminal units), PLCs (programmable logic controllers), meters, wells, etc.
Upload custom images, choose objects, and customize everything on the Image View screen.

Control all aspects of what is shown from the image itself, to the labels and units with the option to show a brief history of data points. Image Views are easily shared among coworkers or managers and kept safe from unwanted changes with read-only share permissions. Learn more about how to build your custom Image Views here

Organize Alarms & Minimize Fatigue with the Alarm Dashboard

The Alarm Dashboard organizes alarm data in a manner that allows admins to quickly see which alarms are working for the organization and which ones are not. Users can manage and view alarm statistics for an entire field or a specific route based on pre-defined, or user defined date ranges. Look through the lens of the alarm setpoints, objects or recipients to identify what changes need to be made to improve the overall health of your assets.

The alarm dashboard is a graphical user interface that uses pie charts to illustrate alarm management insights. Operators may interact and respond to real-time data within the Alarm Dashboard.

Drill through to see each alarm management sub-group in more detail. For example, users can click “more info” on the alarm setpoints to review noisy alarms and take action by editing the setpoint parameters.

Utilize the monitoring and control system to respond to alarms in real time and increase operational efficiency. Assess alarm fatigue by digging deeper into which of your employees are receiving the most alarms. Refine setpoints, delay notifications, or fix faulty devices to minimize alarm fatigue. Save time and money by managing alarms more effectively via the Alarm Dashboard.

Assess alarm system performance and reduce alarm fatigue by understanding what setpoints are alarming the most, what devices are the biggest culprits and which employees are being inundated with alarms. Save time and money by managing alarms more effectively with the Alarm Dashboard.

Quickly Assess Tank Batteries with Tank Graphics

Tank Graphics tell a complete story with just a glance. Graphically view single phase or dual phase tank volumes at the battery or individual tank levels along with pressures and pump statuses. Take action by entering gauge sheets or capturing hauls with run tickets.

Locate Issues and Plan Routes Using the eLynx Map View

eLynx Map View allows users to view their assets geographically and layer in shape files to add additional context, including alarm state. This tool helps engineers and operators correlate potential regional issues and optimize route efficiency.

Map View is a customizable data visualization tool which operators can use to view assets geographically. Assets in an alarm state displayed with a red symbol and assets with no active alarms displayed with a green symbol. This specific tool is especially helpful to operators planning their route efficiently while tending to assets in need of reparations. Save on windshield time with the eLynx Map View.

Graphing SCADA Data to Analyze Trends

While eLynx comes standard with preconfigured graphs and specialty graphs, users are encouraged to create their own from either a single asset or multiple assets. Permissions allow for these graphs to remain private, or they can be shared with others. Graphing options include line graphs, stacked graphs and stacked comparison graphs where different time frames can be defined. Contextual data such as field notes, control settings, and alarms can be easily added to expedite analysis.

Lift Type Views for Oil & Gas SCADA

View all your wells in one system: free flowing, plungers, ESPs, rod pumps, and gas lift wells.  The eLynx application works with all major controllers and artificial lift types.

Is your SCADA HMI Holding you Back from Data Analysis?

While the Age of Big Data continues to boom, SCADA software systems must allow analysts to access and create data visualizations. Graphical representations of data are necessary to make sense of the millions of data rows being generated daily. Furthermore, graphical user interfaces make it easier for management to make operational decisions quickly.

Utilizing the data visualization tools available through the eLynx application will give your operations team a competitive advantage. Quickly interpret the story your data is telling you with all the data visualization tools eLynx has to offer.
