Tulsa Okla., January 14, 2020—eLynx Technologies (www.elynxtech.com) is pleased to announce Samantha McPheter has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). She succeeds Steve Jackson, one of the co-founders of the company, who had been in the role since August of 2000.
Following some time off, Jackson announced to employees the change in management,
“After much consideration and discussion, I have made the decision to move into the role of Chairman of the Advisory Board and out of the role of President and CEO. I have asked Sam McPheter to serve as eLynx’s new President and CEO and she has accepted that position.
Steve Heyman and I are both confident that Sam is the perfect person for leading eLynx. This change should be a seamless transition, as Sam has been running the day-to-day operations for the past several months.”
When congratulated on her promotion, McPheter responded, “I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to lead such a passionate team and look forward to our future together.”
McPheter originally joined eLynx in 2009 as a member of the customer support team, became the Support Manager in November 2011, promoted to Chief Product Officer in November 2016 and subsequently Chief Operating Officer in April 2019. In addition to the years with eLynx, McPheter previously worked with both military and commercial SCADA systems to utilize data for bulk fuel storage and distribution.
