eLynx Signs Deal With Rosetta
TULSA, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 29th, 2008
Tulsa-based eLynx Technologies, the leading provider of web-based monitoring and
field automation services to the oil and gas industry, today announced it has signed
a deal with Rosetta Resources' Northern Division in Yuma County, Colo.
Since 2006, Rosetta's Texas field has been an active user of the SCADALynx system,
a Web based software that provides real-time production information to eLynx clients
across the country.
"Web-based, real time data allows us to target problem wells first as well as optimize
a pumper's route saving us time and money while maximizing production," said Randy
Judge, operations manager for Rosetta.
"We started out using eLynx Field Services to upgrade an existing system that was
very unreliable," said Tony Escamilla, measurement foreman for Rosetta Resources.
"The value of having timely data for us is that we can now make decisions based
on current and reliable production numbers. Being able to see production information
remotely helps the whole company operate more efficiently."
Rosetta Resources is an independent oil and gas company primarily concentrating
in the Sacramento Basin of California, South Texas, the Gulf of Mexico and the Rocky
Mountains. Since 2000, eLynx Technologies has provided real-time data collection,
production reporting, trending, well monitoring and control via the Internet for
the oil and gas industry. The company services more than 215 exploration and production
companies and operates in more than 20 states. Headquartered in Tulsa, eLynx also
has support offices in Denver, Houston, Dallas, Oklahoma City and Carthage, Texas.
