eLynx, Ashtola Exploration Sign Monitoring Agreement

TULSA, Okla., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- eLynx Technologies, an Internet-based monitoring company, recently began well monitoring for Ashtola Exploration Company of Amarillo, Texas. Using eLynx's MeterDOC, Ashtola is able to capture their data in the field, then Web enable it via the eLynx Data Center to allow for constant access of their well information. The digital overhead channel of the cellular network makes this transfer possible.

The MeterDOC solution reports on temperatures, tank levels, spot flow pressures, previous day's gas flow, accumulated monthly volume, etc. The device also has alarm technology that allows the field technician to set alarm points. When flow or pressure is out of normal range, MeterDOC will notify personnel via pager, e-mail or mobile phone so the circumstance can be dealt with immediately.

The communication technology in MeterDOC can be used anywhere, which eliminates the cost associated with installing radio and cellular solutions. MeterDOC's hardware costs are also low due to the minimal power requirement. The device is compatible with all major brands of flow computers such as ABB TotalFlow, Bristol Babcock, Emerson Process Management and Thermo Flow Automation.
