eLynx and Petris Provide Integrated Real-Time Data Into State of the Art Web Interface and Engineering Analysis Applications

TULSA, Okla., Aug. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- eLynx Technologies, LLC and Petris Technology recently developed a robust data integration engine that bridges their two services. The integration allows the real-time operational data, collected as part of eLynx's well monitoring services, to be seamlessly served to the client's engineers through the premier web-based data analysis interface provided by Petris.

For Houston Exploration Company, a large independent oil and gas company headquartered in Houston, Texas, the production data for more than 500 wells is flowing between the two systems. eLynx provides well monitoring services for the wells, collecting data several times a day for operational purposes. They include system balancing, well performance analysis and real-time alarming to alert the client of immediate operational concerns. The new integration engine periodically normalizes the data and automatically transmits it to the Petris database.

Once information is received by Petris, it can be combined with other data including well bore information, well logs, geological maps and well histories to provide the engineer with a single point of analysis. The daily frequency of data provides the engineer the information necessary to react quickly in active areas.
