eLynx Expands Contract With Houston Exploration
TULSA, Okla., June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- eLynx Technologies (eLynx) continues to expand the size and scope of its outsourced SCADA services with The Houston Exploration Company. The managed system now includes monitoring all of the company's South Texas wells. eLynx will replace the remaining chart recorders with their MeterLynx product. The total number of wells and check meters will exceed 500 locations.
Houston Exploration increased the number of MeterLynx locations in order to improve their operations efficiency and production data reporting.

The eLynx solution designed for Houston Exploration uses a fixed radio frequency network to provide real-time data to the Internet. This allows producers to view their data from wherever they have Internet access. Additionally, eLynx exports production volumes daily into Houston Exploration's internal systems where the updated information is utilized by the accounting, land and engineering departments.
eLynx is able to monitor the various points at the well site including line pressures, tubing and casing pressures, temperature readings, electronic flow meters, tank levels and compressor status, all based on the clients needs. MeterLynx has an alarm callout system that notifies personnel via pager, cellular phone or e-mail when a well is underperforming or a compressor is down.
