eLynx Provides Monitoring for The Exploration Co

TULSA, Okla., June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- eLynx Technologies has recently become the monitoring provider for Texas-based, The Exploration Company (Nasdaq: TXCO - News). Using eLynx's CompressorDOC and MeterDOC solutions, the plan consists of capturing The Exploration Company's data in the field, then Web enabling it so it can be retrieved by the company's personnel on the Internet at any time. Using the digital overhead channel of the cellular network, CompressorDOC and MeterDOC are able to provide real-time meter and compression data online.

CompressorDOC and MeterDOC both have an alarm callout system that notifies personnel via pager, mobile phone or e-mail when a compressor or meter is down. The MeterDOC solution can also report on previous day's gas flow, accumulated monthly volume, spot flow pressures, temperatures, tank levels, etc. Both devices use high bandwidth radio and satellite communications to transmit data from the site to the eLynx Data Center for uploading to the Web site. The system uses 128-bit encryption and requires a password for access, so the data is extremely secure.
