eLynx Provides MeterLynx Solution for Oakhill Pipeline

TULSA, Okla., Nov. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- eLynx Technologies, a Web- based field automation company, provides its MeterLynx solution to the Oakhill Pipeline System in Texas. Oakhill uses the solution to monitor and control three of their sales stations and 10 compressors stations.

Oakhill uses eLynx to monitor critical compression on their pipeline, make flow set-point changes at sales points and to do report-by-exception alarming to ensure safe operation of the pipeline and facilities.

MeterLynx allows gatherers and producers to continually access numerous facets of their data on the Web. The system is custom built for individual client specifications, thus MeterLynx is able to monitor all of the varied aspects of their meters. Monitoring includes pressures, volumes, tank levels, plunger lift, temperature readings, etc. This information is updated several times daily and then averaged at the end of each month for straightforward analysis.

MeterLynx also has an alarm callout system that notifies personnel via pager, mobile phone or e-mail when a component is down. MeterLynx uses high bandwidth communications to transmit data from the meter back to the eLynx Data Center for uploading onto the site. The system uses 128-bit encryption and a password is required for access, therefore data is exceptionally safe.
