eLynx's TankDOC Prevents Spills and Saves Money

TULSA, Okla. (October 1, 2002) -- eLynx Technologies recently launched TankDOC, the newest addition to their family of monitoring products. The TankDOC, which monitors liquid levels in storage tanks, prevents spills and guarantees saving producers' time and money.

TankDOC uses the digital overhead channel of the cellular network to provide real-time data on the Internet. TankDOC enhances operational efficiency by monitoring liquid levels in condensate, salt water and oil tanks. Once certain levels are reached, personnel are notified via pager, phone or e-mail. Alarms can be configured to prevent spills and tank level data can be used to reduce liquid hauling costs by minimizing or eliminating partial loads.

"Tank spillage is extremely damaging to the environment and the community. It can cost up to $10,000 dollars to remediate," said Doug Redmond, Director of Product Development of eLynx Technologies. "TankDOC simply prevents these detrimental spills."

eLynx customizes its products for each client and uses a secure 128-bit encryption program that requires an authorized password when the site is accessed. TankDOC provides a variety of information for each site, including the device name, tag description, serial number, update and alarm history, as well as a 30-day report.

"This technology has made tank spillage a thing of the past," says Redmond. "Instead of a spill you get a notification by e-mail or a phone call."

eLynx Technologies was formed in August 2000 by its parent company, American Central Gas Technologies. eLynx provides real-time data collection, production reporting, trending, monitoring and control via the Internet for the oil and gas industry. The company headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at 6655 South Lewis, and has regional offices in Houston, located at 16800 Greenspoint Park Drive.
